Banana Oat Bars

Homemade banana oat bars, the perfect lunch box or pre-workout snack I
set aside my bananas to ripen so I can make this simple and delicious
recipe

It’s made with organic rolled oats which I blend into flour, your favorite
nut butter, maple syrup or honey and dark chocolate chips.

You substitute the chocolate for cinnamon chips, which I’ve tried and loved
along with toasted walnuts. This time around I added coconut chips with the
chocolate chips.

Ingredients:
3 to 4 extra ripe organic bananas
3/4 cup peanut or almond butter
1/4 cup honey
2 tsps vanilla
1.5 cups oat flour (made from 2 cups rolled oats)
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup dark chocolate chips or your favorite filling.
Top with more chocolate chips, coconuts chips, chopping pecans & walnuts.

Directions:

  1. Start by mashing bananas in a stainless steel bowl.
  2. Pour your favorite nut butter, then add your honey and vanilla. Mix
    until fully incorporated.
  3. Add oat flour and salt.
  4. Mix and then pour in a baking paper lined rectangular baking mould.
  5. Bake for 25 mins at 180C.
